« Bipartisan Opposition to the Ballroom | Main | On Al Jazeerah » February 1, 2008Calling All McCainiacsChristina Russo, producer at WNYC radio, the NPR affiliate in New York City, called me looking for a few McCain supporters to interview them in advance of Super Tuesday. She says they already have some Romney supporters. If you are a Tennessean and enthusiastic McCain supporter, email your contact info to me at billhobbs-at-tngop.org and I'll pass on some names and numbers to her. Please give me enough info about you that I can be confident you are a Tennessean, a registered voter and a McCainiac. Posted in Campaign Season

Seriously??? How much can you give this old coot and ignore the populus behind Ron Paul who actually says something, has policies that work and cares about our Constitution and America. Gimme a break with all your manufactured "buzz" Posted by: Chris U at February 1, 2008 4:25 PMBill, Good luck! Posted by: Sharon Cobb at February 1, 2008 11:51 PMI have a number of friends who are for Ron Paul. I understand the attraction to his small government pitch. However, I can also read numbers, and after 40 years of working in political campaigns (and my conservative credentials are in order), I think if one really wants to stop the enemy within(McCain), then the only practical vote is Romney. Voting for Huckabee or Paul is the same as voting for McCain. Chris U, just to clarify - it is the New York radio producer who is looking for McCain supporters to interview. She called me at work - I work for the Tennessee Republican Party - and I accomodated her request by posting this item on my blog. If she had asked for Ron Paul supporters or Mike Huckabee supporters I would have also posted that. Posted by: Bill Hobbs at February 2, 2008 12:16 PMPost a comment
