This is terrible and to think Bredesen thinks more of spending money on his party bunker and people are dying in the nursing homes. People are dying without TennCare and yet there is always enough money for the bunker.

I for one will have to leave TN for Fl as in Florida one who gets sick will not have to have there home attached like here. TN can pay for all the crack heads, illegal children, gun shot victims but the elderly/disabled are the last people to get anything. Stripping one of their home is a bit to inhumane for me so seeking a state with homestead exemption is where I will go.

I know of many that live in elderly fascilities provided for through MDHA. These rental units are filled with drug dealers, convicted felons and is definately not safe to bed down in any of those places either.

Why MDHA allows convicted felons in/on government assisted rentals in TN is beyond my imagination as it is against federal and state laws. Why are they allowed to do this? Where is the federal government as this is a case of fraud. Most of the crime in Nashville is in areas where there is MDHA rentals and yet the police protect MDHA. I sure hope someone could explain why this is allowed, why our laws aren't enforced.

Elderly or disabled are not safe in any part in Nashville.
Sad place Nashville is and so very dangerous.
