Briley Update

tnflag.jpgNashville's WSMV Channel 4 News has the police car dashboard camera video of the drunk-driving arrest of state Rep. Rob Briley, D-Nashville. No chase video, though. Does chase video exist? If so, who will publish it first - the news media or a blogger?

Comments

Bill, I followed the link to the WSMV page and the only video there was a 2 minute news cast. Here is the full 16 minute dash cam video if you want to see or share it.

Bill: Not only do we need to see the pursuit video(s)- multiple agencies?), we need to see the paperwork associated with the arrest: namely, the warrant narratives, the accident report, and the DUI arrest report. The pursuit video will be important for the felony charge of evading arrest by motor vehicle. We also need to hear the tapes of the radio traffic from all agencies involved in these incidents.
