But the blogosphere has been buzzing with news of the error in NASA's data for a couple days now. The mainstream media has been alerted that 1998 was not the hottest year on record. Instead of just repeating the error from the journal Science, the mainstream media ought to point out that NASA has updated its information and no longer claims 1998 was the hottest year on record. Instead, they have become complicit in perpetuating false information. So far, the mainstream media neither acknowledges nor regrets the error. Which helps explain this. Posted in Environmentalism
