« Extreme Web Makeover: The City Paper | Main | Free Daily Pays Readers to Blog » June 29, 2007Thank God?Mark Daniels has written a thought-provoking piece about the power of prayer and what role prayer may have played in the averted car-bomb terror attack in London today. Daniels mentions author Phillip Yancey's excellent new book Prayer: Does It Make Any Difference? Well, I'm guessing it is excellent, although I haven't read it yet, based on Yance's track record. His book What's So Amazing About Grace? was the best book I've read on the theology of grace since, well, since the Bible itself. So, just as soon as I hit "publish" on this, I'm off to Amazon to order Yancey's new book. Posted in Faith & Culture
