Not exactly a comforting sight on your first deep-sea dive. I only managed the one shot before he glided off into the darkness.

Okay, I'll 'fess up. I took the the picture with my cellphone camera through the glass at the Tennessee Aquarium. I've never been deep-sea diving. Or snorkeling for that matter.

Deja vu all over again.

Looks just like the animal that was slowly circling the anchor as I proceeded down the chain on my first open water certification check dive.

Imagine sphincter, pin and ball-peen hammer.
