« Suing a Blogger: Sixth Update | Main | Coble Case Settled » April 16, 2007Floyd Landis UpdateIf you've wondered what happened to Floyd Landis, the American who won the 2006 Tour de France only to have his victory undermined by a single suspicious drug test (by the same French lab that has a checkered and scandalous history of mishandling samples and misreporting results), well, ESPN has the latest. The story has several sidebars. I believe Landis is innocent and as long as the source of any test that says otherwise is that same French lab, I will continue to do so. Posted in Sports

You need to come on over to our house for any one of our many "Free Floyd" sessions. The whole thing just grates on me. We watched Paris-Roubaix last night, and I have to say that cycling seems like a shadow of itself. The drug scandals are out of control and that lab... Never mind. Not gonna say anything bad about the lab. Posted by: Katherine Coble at April 16, 2007 5:47 PMIt is my understanding that IF Landis actually took the steroid then it would be in his system for the rest of the race. Having a single day's results 'spiked' stinks. Posted by: Tom M at June 11, 2007 8:48 AMPost a comment
