Fred Thompson's mere announcement that he was considering running for president sparked a huge surge in blog traffic to ElephantBiz.com, this site and others, and his potential candidacy has clearly excited the conservative blogosphere to a degree no other candidate or potential candidate has achieved. The Daily Fred will serve as daily guide portal for readers seeking Fred Thompson news and commentary from around the MSM and the blogs.
