Moyers is just an idiot. I work with the Natl Asnn of Broadcasters, so I get this stuff daily. As I noted on Mick Wright's blog: -- Thanks to the Internet, there are thousands of times more news sources available than the last time media ownership rules were changed. -- And because of that the reality today is local broadcasts, and local newspapers are competing against sat radio, cable, you name it. The FCC had better modernize its rules soon, or a lot of local news outlets will go out of business before they get acquired. Thanks for helping draw attention to this!
