That's a good proposal, and one that will address many of the societal ills caused by illegal immigration. Krumm is running against state Sen. Doug Henry, an entrenched incumbent who was first elected to the Senate two years after the first manned moon landing. I searched Henry's campaign website for his position on illegal immigration. Here is what I found: Nothing. Nada Zip. Zilch.
Speaking of illegal immigration, Juan Borges, Republican candidate for the Tennessee 60th House district seat, is having a fundraiser event focused on illegal immigration policy, with special guest U.S. Rep. Marsha Blackburn, tonight at Maggiano's Little Italy, 3106 West End, Nashville. It's from 7-9 p.m., and the suggested minimum donation is $100 per person or couple. If you communicate with state Sen. Doug Henry about common-sense bills that would demagnetize Tennessee to illegal aliens, he'll tell you those bills can't be passed, even though similar bills have been passed in other states. The real reason such bills don't get passed in Tennessee is because the Democrats, hypnotized by the ethnic-identity, open-borders groups, and some Republicans, held hostage by the chambers of commerce and criminal employers, don't allow it. What that means is, Tennessee and the other obtuse states get the illegal aliens being demagnetized out of the rest of the states. Are we at the mercy of those who don't really care that this invasion is done at the expense of legal unemployed citizens, and costs on the backs of citizens of this state? Why is this happening to America and Americans? We see ourselves as either rich, or poor. Posted by: Betty Allen at August 31, 2006 12:44 PMPost a comment
