The Pork Pigs

porkbustersnewsm.jpgThree Tennessee congressman have released complete lists of the pork requests they're trying to stuff into the federal budget, costing taxpayers hundreds of millions of dollars. While the congressman deserve praise for their openness, their complicity in driving federal spending through the roof is worthy of scorn. And when you scroll through the lists, all published online today by The Tennessean, there are several wealthy private entities grabbing for tax dollars who ought to be equally scorned.

For more on the endless raid on your wallet by a Congress that can't say no to new spending, see PorkBusters.org. And don't just call your congressman and demand an end to pork - peruse the lists and pressure the wealthy private entities that are getting pork to stop asking for it.
