Dismal

The Center for Public Integrity's latest ranking of the states on their disclosure laws governing elected officials are out and Tennessee still ranks dismally low. The Tennessean has a good editorial today on why the state legislature didn't do enough to raise the ethical bar for itself. Here's an example they didn't cite but could have of a legislator voting in his family's best economic interest instead of yours.
