Tennesseans for Immigration Control and Reform

Jeff Moder, a Memphis-area Republican and political newcomer, is making illegal immigration an issue in his campaign for the U.S. Senate seat that Sen. Bill Frist will vacate after the 2006 election. Moder, 41, has posted a detailed statement/press release about his stance against illegal immigration, along with his thoughts on how to address that problem. He has a campaign Web site and a blog.

I'm asking any Tennessee candidates for office - federal, state, or local - who are making immigration an issue in their campaigns to send me the links to their published statements on that issue. A statement on your campaign Web site - a statement that looks as if you're serious - will suffice. I will eventually post your information and links in a single list here at BillHobbs.com.

Send the info to me at tncoalition at hotmail dot com.
