« Quotable | Main | Where's the Beef? » December 21, 2005Anti-Walmart Campaign Caught in Lies and Race-BaitingWakeUpWalMart.com, the Big Labor-funded attack on Wal-Mart, has been caught in lies and race-baiting. Joel Mowbray has the details. This isn't the first time I've noticed anti-Wal-Mart crusaders peddling misinformation. The truth, however, is that Wal-Mart is good for America's poor - better, even, than the federal government's welfare program. Posted in Economy & Business

HAVE YOU GONE MAD????? Just from what I've personaly seen, Walmart is NOT a decent company! Walmart moved into my city of 9,000 souls and immediately went on the attack, dropping prices so low that Prange way & pamida wound up closing! THEN, then you know what your "nice" walmart did? Jacked up the prices ABOVE what any of the others had been charging, and when people complained they were told "If you don't like it, shop somewhere else." When Target moved in on the west side, do you know what your FRIEND walfart tried to do? IMMEDIATELY, they started trying to bully the city council into letting them close the walmart on the east side & let them build a SUPERCENTER on the west side - right across the street from Target!
WALMART IS NOT OUR FRIEND! Posted by: Gynsu Samatoshi at December 21, 2005 9:13 PMI believe this another case of "bring down the big guy". We should be proud of a sucessful industry. Sure they have employees who have a rightful complaint. Let the employess settle their problems with Wallmart. Post a comment
