Silence is Feingolden

Nashville lliberal blogger Sharon Cobb has launched a new website that incorporates her blog and so much more. Currently plastered all over the front of her site and blog is a loving tribute to U.S. Sen. Russ Feingold, whose name may be familiar to you as one of the authors of the McCain-Feingold campaign finance reform law that is currently destroying your right to free speech.

But the Left loves the guy.

Considering she and "brittney" are both wild-eyed liberals, this doesn't really surprise you, does it?

Like I said...the only requirement for the left to love you is that you hate Bush.

I find it funny that John Galt takes any and every oppurtunity to bring up my name. Even when I am not involved.

I have no opinion on Feingold whatsoever.

And the other author of the bill is one of quite a few Republicans for whom I have some respect and admiration (although I sometimes wonder about some of the positions and alliances Senator McCain advocates). He knows how the game is played.

The bill attempted to do something about the fact that political speech is, in fact, not free-- it costs money to buy influence, and the more money, the more influence.

Speaking of wild-eyes, I just finished watching Bridget Quinn's post-Bush speech comments. Scary looking woman!

And hating Bush is a simplistic interpretation. That would imply a too-narrow focus that draws attention from the fact that he is in reality a very small player in the regime that hold power now. In the long run, it will be shown that voters will have had their fill of the other swing of the pendulum, which they desire from time to time, and will eventually establish an equilibrium.

Miss Cobb's site is nice.

Who is John Galt?

I just read at PITW that Bill and Blake assaulted Russ Feingold this weekend. Boys, violence is not the solution.
