I, for one, celebrate the exodus of John Ford from the state senate, and look forward to his taking up a new job selling his influence to fellow residents of a nice federal prison somewhere. Meanwhile, I'm trying to decide which of these shirts to purchase. I'm leaning toward the one in the center. Comments
Just think, JF now qualifies for $2100 or so per month in retirement pay for the rest of his natural life. Wotta deal. Posted by: Tim at May 31, 2005 8:05 PMI can only hope that this scandal on the Ford family will knock Harold out of the primary and force the Democrats to find a candidate who will represent the interests of the people in his place. H. Ford is just as much about politics as E. Bryant, and both are as useless as tits on a boarhog. Van Hilleary isn't much better, and Corker is already pandering to the "anti-everything" fundamentalist crowd. Wouldn't it be nice to send a Tennessean of whom we could be proud to the Senate? Posted by: smijer at May 31, 2005 9:41 PMI almost ran off the road this morning, when I heard Dave Foulk say on WNOX NewsTalk 100 that John Ford stated he did not resign because of the multiple charges he is facing. Though the fact that the ethics laws were changed probably only hastened the fact. Posted by: cube at June 1, 2005 2:33 PMPost a comment
