Posted by: SemiPundit at August 30, 2004 10:40 AMJust in the interests of keeping the rumor alive, I'll point out that in some areas (such as mine), the Bush campaign doesn't have their yard signs yet. Are they secretly putting together Bush-McCain signs? No, probably not. A lot of conservatives are already pretty ticked off over the bipartisan assault on free speech, and if Bush puts assaulter-in-chief McCain on the ticket, I know at least one Bush precinct captain who will resign in disgust (though I'd still vote for Bush in preference to Kerry).
