These are the suspected Al Qaeda operatives who may be planning a major terror attack inside the United States soon. If you see them - if you think you have seen them - contact the FBI. You may save thousands of lives. Here's more info from the FBI. According to the WaPo, "Some law enforcement and firefighter union representatives, supporters of Democrat John Kerry for president, suggested that the timing of the threat report was suspicious because of polls showing a sagging approval rating for President Bush." Idiots. If President Bush failed to release this information and these suspected Al Qaeda terrorists managed to pull off another major attack, they'd be blaming Bush for NOT acting. But now that his administration has acted to alert the American people, in hopes of thwarting the attack, they criticize him and call it politics. It isn't politics. It's part of the War on Terror, which the Bush administration appears determined to fight and win, and the Bush administration's critics appear determined to politicize, no matter what the cost or risk. Is it all just partisan politics? Screw Iraq, screw Afghanistan, they'll lie their damn heads off in order to get an extra point in the polls? It's clear they've got to portray GWB and crew as a total, abject failure to get any chance at the White House this year - but would they REALLY Want to see us lose the whole WoT thing JUST to get the Dems back in power? Sadly, I'm thinking the answer is "Yes" - because they don't really see it as real. Even after 9/11, they've managed to delude themselves that it's all GWB's fault the terrorists are mad at us, and they're ignoring that Al Quaeda had a hard-on for the US for a decade. I'm starting to worry now. When we're united and resolved, we can do incredible things. Seems like we've got folks trying hard to drive wedges though, and they're ignoring the long-term results of their efforts for the short-term political gain. J.
