« Digital Freedom Update: It's a Person-al Thing | Main | Digital Freedom UPDATE: Unintended Consequences » May 15, 2003Full CircleI'm a former newspaper reporter who now blogs. The blogosphere is often convulsed by discussions over whether blogs are journalism (right answer: some are) and how traditional news organizations should use blogs. Well, the Providence Journal in Rhode Island has some of its reporters writing blogs. One of them, Sheila Lennon, linked today to my blog - and added some comments that help flesh out even more the story I've been blogging about how the cable industry is pushing legislation that will give it the authority to ban TiVo. Are blogs journalism? In this case, yes. In spades. Comments
